STEP
DEI Imperatives – Determine Priorities
4
STEP
DEI Initiatives – Undertake Action
Data-Driven DEI™ uses the OGSM Strategic Planning Framework – a method that guides people and organizations through the strategic planning process and the development of a DEI Strategic Plan.
OGSM is an acronym that stands for
objectives, goals, strategies and measures.
Objectives
Each objective should have one or more goals to evaluate results and determine impact.
Goals
Each goal should be evaluated against one of more metrics or
key performance indicators (KPIs).
Strategies
Each objective should have one or more strategies to fulfill the objective and achieve the corresponding goals.
Measures
Each strategy should be evaluated against one or more measures.
Below you will find a downloadable library of personal and organizational DEI measures, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Data-Driven DEI™ walks you through the process of data reporting enabling you to understand, interpret, and analyze DEI data to gauge progress, determine impact, and engender accountability.

Personal and/or organizational DEI strategies and measures are centered on "outputs" or intermediate results. Gauge progress by tracking and monitoring the DEI measures for your intermediate results (i.e., outputs).
Determine Impact
Personal and/or organizational DEI objectives and goals are centered on "outcomes" or final results. Determine impact by tracking and monitoring the DEI metrics and KPIs for your final results (i.e., outcomes).
Engender Accountability
Hold yourself and others accountable for achieving DEI objectives and goals by clearly capturing and communicating expectations, performance, reminders and reinforcement.
